Mumbai-Ernakulam Duronto Express derails


Ten coaches of the Mumbai-Ernakulam Duronto Express derailed near Madgaon in Goa on Sunday. The mishap took place at 06:24 am, near Balli station.

No casualties or injuries have been reported.

The accident Relief Medical Van (ARMV) and Accident Relief Trains (ARTs) have reached the site. Konkan Railway officials have also rushed to the site.
Position of Trains on Konkan Railway route

Following trains are short terminated:

1) 70102 Karwar – Madgapm of 03/05/2015 short terminated at Loliem.
2) 22636 Mangalore-Madgaon of 03/05/2015 terminated at Karwar.

Following trains will be Diverted  :

1)  16337 OKHA – Ernakulam of 02/05/2015
2)  02065 CSTM-Ernakulam of 03/05/2015
3)  22634 Nizamuddin-Trivandrum of 01/05/2015
4)  11097 Pune-Ernakulam of 02/05/2015
5)  16312 Kochuveli-Bikaner of 02/05/2015

Following trains shall remain Cancelled:

1) 22635 Madgaon-Mangalore of 03/05/2015
2) 70101 Madgaon-Karwar of 03/05/2015
3) 10215 Madgaon-Ernakulam of 03/05/2015
4) 56641 Madgaon-Mangalore of 03/05/2015

Following trains shall remain Partially Cancelled:

1) 56640 Mangalore-Madgaon of 03/05/2015 will run between Mangalore and
2) 12133 CSTM-Mangalore Jn of 02/05/2015 is cancelled between Madgaon and
Mangalore Jn.
3) 12134 Mangalore Jn – CSTM of 03/05/2015 is cancelled between Mangalore Jn and Madgaon.
